The possibilities for gameplay with Sphero are endless. For the first time, the ball has become a brainy robot that can be controlled in a variety of ways. Sphero is changing the way we think about and enjoy mixed-reality gameplay. With seven apps currently available, our team has only scratched the surface of Sphero’s possibilities. That’s where you come in.
Join us this year as we take our mobile SDK on the road. We’ve done the hard work to get you rolling, now let your imagination run wild!
Because Sphero is so versatile, there will be several ways to win during each location. Winnings span from a free Sphero to two grand prizes – a whopping $5,000 each!
In each city, the festivities kick off on Friday evening with a party. Happy hour meets gaming as our team introduces you to Sphero. Saturday morning we host a more thorough introduction to the Sphero SDK. Then the floor opens to the developers, and the hacking gets cracking! Two weeks later, the best apps are chosen and the winners announced. You get to own what you create, but our hope is you submit the app and show off your work.
